Disabling autoupdates in Windows Server 2016

This manual covers the procedure for disabling the autoupdate procedure in Windows Server 2016.

Windows Update

To do this, open the Windows Administrative Tools through the Start panel:

In the "Administrative Tools" window, select - "Computer Management"“.

Then in the newly opened window select "Services and applications" - "Services".

Scroll down Windows services and open "Windows Update."

Then in the newly opened window, set Startup Type to "Disabled" in the list and click "Stop" and then "Apply".

Now you have disabled system updates, press „ОК“.

Done.
